CB Frost are an established UK manufacturer of sponge, foam and rubber strip.
The materials we covert from sheeting to strip are either closed cell, open cell, semi-closed cell sponge, foam or solid rubbers.
Nitrile is a solid rubber material with good abrasion properties and resistance to oils and petroleum.
Nitrile Rubber performs better than other materials in applications where petroleum, oils, aromatic hydrocarbons and acids are present and is widely selected as the material of choice in applications such as fuel pump diaphragms (Automotive), hoses (Automotive/Aircraft) and oil seals (Oil & Gas).
CB Frost also offer a BS (British standard) grade known as BS2751 Nitrile Rubber. This grade will have enhanced characteristics, such as oil, petroleum, and abrasion resistance. The material will require a minimal level of polymer content and regular batch testing.
Adhesive Backed Nitrile Rubber Strip
CB Frost can apply a pressure sensitive adhesive to either one or both faces of Nitrile Rubber. We stock a wide range of synthetic and acrylic tapes, our adhesive tapes come with an easy peel release liner which you simply remove to expose the adhesive. This face is then placed on to the substrate and firmly pressed to obtain the bond.
Lead-times
Our lead-time to supply Plain or Adhesive Backed Nitrile Rubber strip is 7-10 days, however CB Frost are flexible and work with our customers to ensure we meet their expectations.
Nitrile Rubber Strip Capabilities
CB Frost produce large quantities of Nitrile Rubber strip every year and cater for small, medium and large runs. Our slitting capabilities allow us to offer our customers a range of widths and can manufacture strip 4mm wide up to 1mtr wide in most thicknesses.
Nitrile Rubber strips are manufactured at our site in Nechells, Birmingham based in the West Midlands.
