Cork (CF16)

Cork is the bark of the cork oak, a noble tree with very special characteristics, grown in the Mediterranean region, mainly Portugal. It is a suitable product that has minimal impact on the environment.

Cork has excellent resistance to various oils as well as good anti-vibration properties, which makes it a good material choice in various industries, depending on application.

CB Frost are a stockist and keep a range of grades on the shelf in 1mm up to 6mm thick. Rolls are 1mtr wide by 10/16mtrs long.

The most popular grades used are

  • Grade – 2020 (Nitrile/Neoprene bonded cork)
  • Grade – 2001 (SBR/Nitrile bonded cork)
