Closed cell EPDM sponge (CF3)
EPDM sponge (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a closed cell sponge material that’s ideally suited for use outdoor and automotive applications.
The main properties of EPDM sponge are its excellent resistance to Ozone, UV and weathering as well as its general resistance to abrasion.
EPDM sponge sheeting is manufactured in block form which is easily split and joint to form sheets and rolls at various thicknesses. A standard block is 2mtrs long by 1mtr wide and is slit to the desired thickness then joined using adhesive and heat to form rolls either 5mtrs or 10mtrs long depending on thickness or left as sheets.
Whilst normally supplied in black there is also an option of white, which helps in certain industries where colour could be an issue.
Our thickness range is between 1mm and 40mm as standard or we can laminate together for anything thicker.
