EPDM super soft sponge differs from standard EPDM sponge (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) as it has a semi-closed cell structure, allowing EPDM semi-closed cell sponge gaskets to compress more easily.

EPDM semi-closed cell sponge gaskets feature an impressive ozone, UV, and general resistance, combined with withstanding temperatures of between -40 ˚C and 120˚C. With these properties, EPDM is a well suited material for use in outdoor and automotive applications. EPDM semi-closed cell sponge gaskets provide an ideal solution to sealing outdoor applications, protecting against dust and moisture

Overview:

We can supply EPDM semi-closed cell sponge gaskets in practically any shape, whether it be a simple circular, square or rectangular design, or a complex shape, incorporating holes, cut-outs and radius or angled corners
We can produce sponge gaskets in thicknesses ranging from 1.5mm to 25mm thick, which we manufacture in house on our overhead or swing arm presses
We cater for anything from custom one offs, to large volume production of EPDM semi closed sponge gaskets; high volume production orders can be supplied kiss-cut on sponge rolls, providing the shape and size of your gasket requirements allow for this
All semi closed cell sponge gaskets can be supplied plain or backed by a range of adhesive tapes, dependent on your order requirements
