HT800 silicone foam is a medium cellular foam material with excellent compression set, memory, and low stress relaxation properties, which due to its compression set commonly reduces maintenance costs involved with gasket failure.
HT800 has excellent resistance to ultraviolet light and ozone, combined with a considerable low and high temperature range. It’s a material commonly used to reduce shock, isolate vibration and provide protection against wind driven rain and fire in various outdoor communications, electronics and lighting enclosures, whilst also working effectively to IP66 and IP67.
HT800 Silicone foam is Fire Safe – approved to EN45545-2, BS6853 Cat 1A, UL94 to V-0 and HF-1 and is approved and commonly utilised by TFL on the London Underground.
