Specialist Gasket Manufacturers
At CB Frost, we manufacture and supply gaskets from an extensive range of materials, including sponge gaskets, foam gaskets, rubber gaskets, cork gaskets and silicone gaskets. Our experts will work with you to determine the ideal materials to suit your application and decide on the most suitable manufacturing techniques to deliver the highest quality gaskets.
As specialist gasket manufacturers, we supply gaskets in all shapes and sizes to suit our customer requirements, from simple circular or standard shapes, to highly complex designs, incorporating holes, cut-outs, angled corners and radiuses.
We use a number of different manufacturing techniques to deliver the best suited gaskets for each application, dependent on the material used, its thickness, unique client requirements and other factors.
Cut and Kiss-Cut Gaskets
For gaskets of lower thicknesses, we regularly utilise our overhead, swing arm or kiss-cutting presses to manufacture gaskets to a high-degree of precision. When supplying gaskets in high volumes and providing that the gaskets are a suitable shape and size, we can supply gaskets kiss-cut on rolls for ease of storage and use by our customers.
Our recent investment in a new high-speed cutting and kiss-cutting press will not only increase our gasket production, but also improve efficiency and precision, and allow us to provide a wide range of bespoke components for customers in all sectors.
Water Jet Cut Gaskets
For certain materials, particularly when cutting from thick roll stock materials, we utilise a water jet cutting machine to achieve flat, precise edges. This allows for correctly fitting gasket, reducing the risks of gasket failure.
Moulded Gaskets
We can produce moulded gaskets and seals in a wide range of materials, to suit all industrial sectors. We can produce moulded gaskets in all numbers, from proto-type or small batch, to high volume, long running schedules.
Extruded Gaskets
Our extrusions can be manufactured in solid and sponge form in a variety of materials and can be fabricated or bonded to form gaskets. We carry out the complex process to hot splice or vulcanise each end of the profile to form a gasket.
Vulcanising is ideal for applications such as tubing, rectangle/square profiles and O-ring gaskets in low volumes. The hot splicing process uses thin film and a conventional or infrared light heat source to bond the seal.
Gasket Tape
All gaskets and strip material can be backed with adhesives to form gasket tape. Working in partnership with Bostik, we supply a wide range of adhesives and sealants.
