Neoprene rubber (CF7)
Neoprene rubber (CF7), commonly known as chloroprene is a solid rubber material with good resistance to oils, chemicals, UV and Ozone. Available in a range of shore hardnesses from 40 to 80 shore, and a range of thicknesses in sheet format, including 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm. Other thicknesses available upon request.
Neoprene rubber offers engineers/designers a cost effective, durable material suitable for a vast range of industries.
CB Frost also offer BS (British standard) and F/R (Fire retardant) grade neoprene rubbers. British standard grade (BS), known as BS2752 commonly offers enhanced characteristics, such as flame, water, and Ozone resistance. The material requires a minimal level of polymer content and regular batch testing.
