The materials we covert from sheeting to strip are either closed cell, open cell, semi-closed cell sponge, foam or solid rubbers.
CB Frost now stock a pure Neoprene sponge to complement our range of fire safe materials. LSLT (Low smoke, Low toxicity) Neoprene sponge is a fully closed cell and available in a selection of thicknesses.
LSLT Neoprene sponge has been formulated to comply with the European fire safety standard EN45545-2 for rail vehicles
Our grade of LSLT Neoprene has good resistance to UV, Ozone, general weathering and can be used as a gap or anti rattle filler strip to protect against the ingress of dust and moisture.
Our strip or tape is supplied in coils. The length of each coil is based on a standard roll length; in this case 10mtrs. However, we do have the facility to supplier in longer coils or cut to smaller lengths if required.
Coils are packed securely into suitable packaging and labelled in accordance with our customer requirements.
Adhesive Backed LSLT Neoprene Sponge (EN45545-2) Strip
We can apply a pressure sensitive adhesive to either one or both faces of LSLT Neoprene sponge. We stock a wide range of synthetic and acrylic tapes, our adhesive tapes come with an easy peel release liner which you simply remove to expose the adhesive. This face is then placed on to the substrate and firmly pressed to obtain the bond.
Lead-times
Our lead-time to supply Plain or Adhesive Backed LSLT Neoprene sponge strip is 7-10 days, however CB Frost are flexible and work with our customers to ensure we meet their expectations.

CB Frost produce vast quantities of LSLT Neoprene sponge strips every year and cater for small, medium and large runs. Our slitting capabilities allow us to offer our customers a range of widths and can manufacture strip 4mm wide up to 1mtr wide in most thicknesses.
LSLT Neoprene sponge strips are manufactured at our site in Nechells, Birmingham based in the West Midlands.
