BF2000 is an ultra-soft, highly compressible silicone foam. The combination of low weight and softness makes this flame-retardant foam ideal for transportation, industrial and electronic applications where low closure force and sealing is critical.
BF2000 Silicone Foam is a fire safe material and meets the requirements of EN45545-2, BS6853 Cat 1A, UL94 V-0 and HF-1.
Adhesive Backed BF2000 Silicone Foam Strip
CB Frost can apply a pressure sensitive adhesive to either one or both faces of BF2000 Silicone Foam. We stock a wide range of synthetic and acrylic tapes, our adhesive tapes come with an easy peel release liner which you simply remove to expose the adhesive. This face is then placed on to the substrate and firmly pressed to obtain the bond.
Lead-times
Our lead-time to supply Plain or Adhesive BF2000 Silicone Foam strip is 7-10 days, however CB Frost are flexible and work with our customers to ensure we meet their expectations.
BF2000 Silicone Foam Strip Capabilities
CB Frost are the UK’s number one supplier of BF2000 Silicone Foam strip and produce vast quantities of strip every year. We cater for small, medium and large runs. Our slitting capabilities allow us to offer our customers a range of widths and can manufacture strip from 3mm wide.
We supply BF2000 Silicone Foam in coils. The length of each coil is based on a standard roll length; in this case 6.1mtrs. However, we do have the facility to supply longer or smaller coil lengths if required.
Coils are packed securely into suitable packaging and labelled in accordance with our customer requirements.
BF2000 Silicone Foam strip is manufactured at our site in Nechells, Birmingham based in the West Midlands.
Standard colour is black and we hold in stock following thicknesses.
