The materials we covert from sheeting to strip are either closed cell, open cell, semi-closed cell sponge, foam or solid rubbers.
Polyethylene Foam is a non-toxic, lightweight, impact absorbing material manufactured in a range of densities from 24gk/m3 to 115kg/m3. Additives added to the manufacturing process allow grades to have flammability, conductive or dissipative properties.
The advantage of Polyethylene Foam is its strength and how lightweight it is comparable to heavier chemically formed foams and is used in variety of applications.
CB Frost holds in stock Polyethylene Foam (LD24) (24kg/m3) in black and white. strip or tape is supplied in coils, the length of each coil is based on a standard roll length; in this case 15mtrs.
However, we do have the facility to supply longer sized coils or smaller lengths if required. Coils are packed securely into suitable packaging and labelled in accordance with our customer requirements.
Adhesive Backed Polyethylene Foam (LD24) Strip
CB Frost can apply a pressure sensitive adhesive to either one or both faces of Polyethylene Foam (LD24). We stock a wide range of synthetic and acrylic tapes, our adhesive tapes come with an easy peel release liner which you simply remove to expose the adhesive. This face is then placed on to the substrate and firmly pressed to obtain the bond.
Lead-times
Our lead-time to supply Plain or Adhesive Backed Polyethylene Foam (LD24) strip is 7-10 days, however CB Frost are flexible and work with our customers to ensure we meet their expectations.

CB Frost produce large quantities of Polyethylene Foam (LD24) strip every year and cater for small, medium and large runs. Our slitting capabilities allow us to offer our customers a range of widths and can manufacture strip from 4mm wide.
